Instagram Profile Feed Facebook Ads Placement

You may notice a new placement in Facebook Ads Manager: Instagram Profile Feed.

I've read some overreactions to this placement, suggesting that users will get pretty upset about this. I just don't see it.

It's not like you'll see ads whenever you go to an Instagram profile. First, you have to go to the profile. Then you have to click a video. Then you have to scroll through those videos to ever see an ad.

This is another addition, though, that could help with inventory. If advertisers are indeed spending less while inventory goes up, this could be a really good sign for ad costs

Actually, it could explain what we're seeing with holiday CPMs. They didn't go up this year, which was really odd.
