Meta Announces Local Inventory Ads

Meta announces Local Inventory Ads... Sorta.

I was intrigued by the mention of a couple of new ads products in testing in this announcement from March 27:

Local Inventory Ads, in particular, got my attention. Here's the description:

"Local inventory ads enable businesses to dynamically target users near their stores with relevant product availability and pricing."

One problem: That was the only mention of this product in that article (at least at the time I published this). Presumably, the highlighted brand used Local Inventory Ads to get their results, but we are told nothing more.

Who has access? How is it set up? How is it different than what's available? When will it be rolled out?

Nothing.

So, there's a new product coming, so that's cool. But I can't tell you anything else.

Anyone know anything about this?
