Here's why I'm publishing at least one video every day of 2023.
This has very little to do with strategy. It's not about the algorithm or trying to go viral.
While it's certainly beneficial to stay in front of our audience with daily content, that's not truly the primary motivation here either.
Publishing a new video every day, for me, is about two things.
First, it's ideal for learning. Every new video gives you something to learn from. The more you create, the faster you can learn and make adjustments.
I just started with short-form video in October, so volume has been critical to my progress. I'm still figuring this stuff out. Publishing less often would slow my growth.
Second, this is about routine. I'm a creature of habit. While I could certainly publish five or six days a week, a day off suddenly gives me an excuse to take another day off.
It's helpful to know that every day, I'm publishing a video. There can be something that's powerful about that psychologically.
So, do what makes you comfortable, but these are the reasons I'm taking on this goal.
