Should we publish videos on Pinterest now?

Should we publish videos on Pinterest now?

I already publish videos to TikTok, Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. But I've been hearing that I should give Pinterest a try, too.

I'm normally pretty resistant to this kind of thing, but there's no reason not to experiment with it. It's the exact same format as what's used for everything but LinkedIn, so let's experiment.

If you want to create unique content for every platform, that's a lot. But if you merely publish the same video to each location, it's worth the test. You're likely to have a completely different audience on Pinterest.

Admittedly, I haven't used Pinterest in seven years, minus looking up breakfast recipes. I don't have a thriving audience there waiting to hear from me, so this is mostly starting from scratch.

But, I've done a lot of that lately. I hadn't used LinkedIn much at all until last year. I didn't start using TikTok until last October. And I didn't really start using Instagram for business purposes (beyond an ad placement) until that same time. Heck, I hadn't even used YouTube consistently until I committed to short-form video and eventually decided to include Shorts in my rotation.

It's worth the test! Are you posting videos to Pinterest?
